Something is down

Mark it URGENT

If the try-on button is down or shoppers are seeing errors, put URGENT in the subject line — those are picked up ahead of everything else.

Setup & installation

Getting the try-on button onto your product pages.

Install MirraFit from the Shopify App Store, then open your theme editor (Online Store → Themes → Customize), go to a product page template, and click Add block in the section where you want the button — usually just under Add to Cart. Pick 'MirraFit Try On', then Save. The button is live immediately; no code and no developer needed.

Three things account for almost every case. First, the block has to be added per template — if you have separate templates for different product types, each one needs it. Second, check the visibility rules in the app's Settings: if you've limited the button to specific product tags, untagged products won't show it. Third, if you changed themes after installing, the block doesn't carry over — add it again in the new theme. If none of those is it, email us with your store URL and a product link.

Yes, entirely, from the theme editor. Label, sub-label, icon, colours, hover colour, width, height, roundness, font size, alignment, spacing, shadow and hover effect are all settings on the block. It's built to inherit your theme rather than announce itself as a third-party widget.

Yes. In the app's Settings you can restrict the button to products carrying specific tags, or hide it on specific tags. Useful when only part of your catalog is suitable for try-on — accessories and fragrance, for instance.

We measure this, because Shopify does too. On a representative product page the app costs 2–3 points of Lighthouse performance against Shopify's limit of 10. The button's styling is inlined so it renders instantly, the widget's code loads only when a shopper shows intent, and the fonts load only when the fitting room opens.

How the try-on works

What shoppers see, and what the engine can and can't do.

One generated result. If a shopper regenerates with a different photo or a different product, that's a new try-on. Opening the fitting room, browsing and closing it again cost nothing.

Typically under ten seconds. The shopper sees a progress indicator with their own photo while it renders.

A clear, well-lit photo of one person, facing roughly forward, with the torso visible. Group photos, heavy filters, very dark rooms and extreme angles are the usual causes of a poor result. We check the photo before spending a render on it and tell the shopper what to fix rather than returning something disappointing.

They get a plain-language reason — no face detected, more than one person, image too small — and can try again. A rejected photo never counts against your try-on allowance, because no render happened.

It's built for designer and luxury fashion, so fine embroidery, beading, prints and lace are preserved rather than smoothed away. Structured outerwear and heavily draped pieces render well. Very sheer fabrics and complex layered outfits are the hardest cases.

Yes. The result screen has an Add to Cart control with the variant picker, so a shopper who likes what they see doesn't have to find their way back to the product page.

Plans & billing

Charges, limits, overage and cancellation.

Through Shopify. Charges appear on your regular Shopify invoice alongside your subscription — there's no separate card to enter and no separate bill to reconcile.

Nothing breaks. Overage is billed in arrears at your plan's per-try-on rate — $0.25 on Studio, $0.22 on Brand, $0.18 on Scale. You approve a spending cap when you subscribe, and Shopify will not let charges pass it. Usage is on your dashboard well before you get there.

A one-time $99 charge giving you 300 try-ons over 30 days, so you can see real results on your own catalog before committing to a monthly plan. If you subscribe afterwards, the $99 is credited to your first month.

Any time, from the Billing page in the app. Upgrades take effect immediately with your allowance adjusted pro rata; downgrades take effect at your next billing date.

Uninstalling the app from your Shopify admin cancels the subscription — there is nothing else to do and nobody to email. Billing stops at the end of the current period.

No. Allowances reset each billing period. If you're consistently well under your plan, move down a tier; if you're consistently over, a higher tier usually costs less than the overage.

Privacy & shopper data

What we keep, for how long, and what shoppers are told.

It's processed to render the try-on and deleted within 72 hours. It is never used for training, never sold, and never shared beyond the processing needed to produce the result. Result images are served over signed URLs that expire.

Only where a shopper fills in the optional form with an explicit consent checkbox — offered when they've used up their free try-ons and want more. Those are your leads, exportable from the app. Everything is set out in our privacy policy and in the data processing addendum inside our terms.

Yes, and the mark is burned into the image itself rather than laid over it in the browser, so it survives saving, screenshotting and copying the image address.

Nothing, in most cases — Shopify's privacy webhooks reach us directly and we action them automatically. If you need a record of what was held or deleted, email privacy@mirrafit.co with the request and we'll confirm in writing.

Our servers, database and result storage are in the European Union (Stockholm), on encrypted volumes. Rendering involves a transfer to Google Cloud in the United States. The full list of sub-processors and the transfer safeguards are in our privacy policy.

Something's wrong

The failures worth checking yourself before you email.

Occasional failures are usually the photo — poor lighting, no clear person, an unsupported file. Repeated failures across different shoppers are ours, not yours: email us with your store URL and roughly when it started, and mark it URGENT. A failed try-on never counts against your allowance.

There's a per-shopper daily cap, separate from your plan allowance, to stop one person burning through your credits. You can adjust it in Settings. Shoppers offered the email form get a bonus allocation when they consent.

Purchase attribution depends on Shopify's web pixel, which only runs for shoppers who accept analytics cookies — so cart and checkout numbers undercount by design in regions with strict consent banners. Paid-order revenue comes from a server-side webhook and is not affected. If a whole day is missing rather than undercounted, that's a fault — tell us.

Your analytics, shoppers and attributed orders survive a reinstall — they're keyed to your store domain. What doesn't carry over is the theme block: add it again in the theme editor.

Not here?

Tell us what you were doing and what happened instead.

Your store URL, a product link, and roughly when it started are usually enough for us to reproduce it. Screenshots help. For anything about shopper data — a deletion request, an access request, a question about the addendum — write to privacy@mirrafit.co instead, so it lands with the right person on the first try.
